Film Screening: Straightlaced, How Gender’s Got Us All Tied Up

November 21, 201512:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Told by more than 50 teens from diverse backgrounds, Straightlaced includes girls confronting messages about culture and body image and boys who discuss being sexually active to “prove they aren’t gay.” An array of brave and intimate accounts from straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and questioning students demonstrates the toll of deeply held stereotypes and rigid gender policing.
